OWNERSHIP INFORMATON
Child SASH is the sole owner of any information collected on our Web site.
WHAT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU DO WE COLLECT?
When you visit our Web site, you may provide two types of information: (1) personally identifiable information that you knowingly choose to disclose, which is collected on an individual basis, and (2) general user information that does not contain personally identifiable information, which is automatically collected on an aggregate basis as you browse our Web site. In some cases, if you choose not to provide the requested information, you may not be able to access all of our Web site's content.
- Personally Identifiable Information You Choose to Provide
You may be asked for certain personal information for the purpose of providing you with content that you request. For example, if you indicate an interest in receiving updated announcements, you are asked to submit your name and email address, which will be retained on file, so that the information you requested may be sent to you. In order to respond appropriately to questions or concerns or for purposes of future communications, a record may be retained of users who have contacted our Web site.
- Non-personally Identifiable Information
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Child SASH. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used for service operations, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our Web site. Similar to commercial Web sites, our Web site uses standard technology called cookies and Web server logs to collect information about how our Web site is used. Cookies are a feature of Web browser software that allows Web servers to recognize the computer used to access a Web site. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user's Web browser on the user's hard drive. Information gathered through cookies and Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Web site, and the Web sites visited just before and just after our Web site. The information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of the information is associated with you as an individual. You can disable cookies on your computer by indicating this in the preferences or options menus in your browser. However, it is possible that some parts of our Web site will not operate correctly if you disable cookies. Consult with your browser's provider/manufacturer if you have any questions regarding disabling cookies.
HOW DOES Child SASH USE COLLECTED INFORMATION?
Your personally identifiable information is used to provide you with information or content that you requested, and, in some cases, to contact you about your requests. If you no longer wish to receive information, you may send an email titled “remove” to childsash@comcast.net.
Child SASH uses non-identifying information collected on our Web site in the aggregate to better understand use of our Web site and to enhance user experience. For example, the information may be used to improve the design and content of our Web site or to analyze the type and frequency of user requests or comments.
Child SASH may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on its behalf. Employees, agents, and contractors who have access to personally identifiable information are required to protect the information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Statement.
Access to your personally identifiable information may be provided when legally required to do so, to cooperate with police investigations or other legal proceedings, to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our Web site, to limit Child SASH’s legal liability and protect its rights, or to protect the rights and safety of visitors to our Web site or the public. In those instances, the information is provided only for that limited purpose.
In the event that the company undergoes a business transition such as management change, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Your personally identifiable information will not be shared in ways unrelated to those described above without providing you with an opportunity to opt out of such use or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
